Ashley Reimann, DVM
Pet parent to Ruca, Pablo and Booga Shooga Knight
Experience
I have more than 15 years experience, beginning my veterinary career as a technician at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group (VMSG) in Ventura, California in 2007. I attended veterinary school 2010 and continued to return to VMSG during academic breaks to maintain and expand my clinical skills. After graduating from Ontario Veterinary College in 2014, I completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at Animal Specialty and Emergency Center (ASEC) in Los Angeles. I began practicing as an emergency clinician at VMSG and later at ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospitals in the San Fernando Valley. I am now the owner of Ruca Dog LLC. In addition to providing telehealth, I work in-person as a relief emergency veterinarian, providing coverage for emergency and specialty hospitals in California and Arizona.
Special interests
Trauma and toxicology are my primary interests.
Pet Parent
I am pet parent to Ruca, a chocolate lab/doberman mix; Pablo, a Neapolitan mastiff and Booga Shooga Knight a Great Pyrenees.
Why virtual vet care?
In emergency medicine, I frequently encounter cases that may have been avoidable with timely education and at-home management. Telehealth aligns with my focus on not only treating emergencies, but helping prevent them.
